The latest ONS data shows the number of deaths and the percentage of deaths caused by Covid-19, which were registered between March 2020 and February 2021. Every death is tragic and the latest figures come as the country will mark the one-year anniversary of the start of the first lockdown with a Day of Reflection on Tuesday March 23. There will be a minute's silence at 12:00 GMT with people encouraged to light up their doorsteps that night.
1. Ramshill and South Cliff
30 deaths from Covid-19 were registered between March 2020 and February 2021, 17 per cent of all deaths recorded.
2. Whitby South and East
10 deaths from Covid-19 were registered between March 2020 and February 2021, 16 per cent of all deaths recorded.
3. Scarborough Central
11 deaths from Covid-19 were registered between March 2020 and February 2021, 16 per cent of all deaths recorded.
4. Whitby West
20 deaths from Covid-19 were registered between March 2020 and February 2021, 15 per cent of all deaths recorded.
