AN elderly lady was left shaken after a man snatched her bag outside The Spa Bridlington.
The 80-year-old Cambridgeshire woman was walking along South Marine Drive just after 8pm on Saturday, when the man grabbed her bag and fled towards Horsforth Avenue.

The man is described as around 5ft 9in, in his 20s, slim and wearing a light-coloured top and dark jeans.

He stole a small, tan-coloured handbag with a short handle and buckle fastening. It contained a pair of reading glasses and a black purse with a zip which contained money and personal items.

Police want anyone with information about the theft to contact them on 0845 6060222, quoting log 817 of August 30, or to telephone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
