Sand-kiter airlifted to hospital with broken knee

A SAND-KITER needed hospital treatment for a suspected broken knee-cap after a collision on Fraisthorpe beach.
The Bridlington coastguard team was called out on Saturday morning to help an ambulance crew and an RAF search and rescue helicopter airlifted the man to Hull Royal Infirmary.

The coastguards were in action again later that day to help a woman who had fallen and broken her wrist at North Landing.
