A woman was arrested in Scarborough earlier today following a disturbance.

North Yorkshire Police were called to an incident of a woman sitting on a window ledge of a building at midday.

Officers said she was "shouting and swearing" in Pavilion Square, Scarborough.

The woman came down at 1pm and was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.
