Don’t miss this opportunity to say who should receive a Borough’s Big Thank You Awards.
The community awards, sponsored by Scarborough based McCain, are for people who have carried out good deeds, selflessly given up their time for a charitable act, a headteacher’s most deserving pupil or someone who has taken on a personal challenge.

Hide AdThe awards are run by the Mayor of the Borough Cllr Tom Fox, in conjunction with The Scarborough News.
The winners will be announced at Scarborough Spa Complex on Tuesday April 19.
Among the nominations is Tony Baker. He has been put forward for the Charitable Fundraising award, for his spectacular Christmas lights displays at his home with which he raises money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Also up for the Charitable Fundraising award is Cloughton Ratpack who formed over a pint after the group had lost some of their friends to cancer. The band have performed across Scarborough and have raised £101,000.

Hide AdFiley resident Sheridan Yarborough and Eastfield resident Tony Sleightholme are both in the running for the Good Deeds award. Both nominations are for their supportiveness and caring nature.
